A Faith-Filled Voice in Medicine and Science
Representation matters. As a Christian, Black woman in medicine, Dr. LaQuita Jones created this space to be both a voice and a face of what’s possible. She understands how powerful it is for young girls, future doctors, and first-generation students to see someone who looks like them—and believes like them—succeed in science and medicine.
Whether through her social media, podcast, or mentorship program, Dr. Jones seeks to show that faith and medicine are not mutually exclusive. They can—and should—walk hand in hand.

Guiding the Next
Generation of
Healers.
Every time Dr. Jones walks into a room to share a diagnosis, she sees the impact—the weight of the word "cancer." It affects not only the child, but the entire family. As both a pediatric oncologist and a former patient, she understands the clinical and emotional toll illness brings. Her goal is to offer hope, clarity, and compassion in the midst of it all.
Through her online platform, Dr. Jones shares educational content, general tips, and comforting insights for families navigating treatment. While she does not provide individualized medical advice through social media, she is committed to helping families understand what’s happening and feel confident asking the right questions.

For Future Doctors,
Nurses, and Reseachers
Dr. Jones’ mentorship program offers a faith-rooted, supportive space for those pursuing or advancing in medical careers—particularly Christians and first-generation students. She knows the challenges of the field: isolation, burnout, financial strain, and the weight of responsibility.
This program is designed to foster mental, emotional, and spiritual resilience while equipping mentees to pursue excellence. Through prayer, wisdom, and practical strategies, Dr. Jones helps participants build strong foundations that can carry them through every stage of their medical journey.
